Cookpole Community

The "COOKPOLE COMMUNITY" or simply 'Cookpole' is the working title for the Walpole and Cookley Playing Field Trust, a registered charity, and is the fusion of the former Community Council and the Playing Field Trust. Basically the Trustees look after the Community Pavilion and the Playing Field, arrange and promote all the social activities for the Parishes of Cookley and Walpole : Autumn Lunch, fêtes, open gardens, Car Boots, quiz nights etc etc

The Committee meets in the Pavilion at 7.30 pm on the second Thursday of each month and consists of the following residents:

  • Elle Bond
  • Zoé Mair - Chairman (01986 784217)
  • Lesley Norton
  • Michael Porter
  • Kate Rous

New volunteers are always warmly welcome to join us to bring enthusiasm and fresh ideas to community life and activities. Everyone in 'Cookpole' enjoys the friendly positive atmosphere of the committee, so if you would like to be part of the action - whether you live in Cookley or Walpole - please get in touch.
